The 3rd part of the United States Mint Presidential $1 Coin Historical Signature Series is to be issued today, June 10. It is worth mentioning that the collection of new Historical Signature Series started on April 8th, when coins with the image of George Washington were issued. The Historical Signature Series features 2007 Presidential $1 Coins minted to commemorate the Presidents of the United States.
The new Set of Presidential $1 Coins includes a proof version coin along with a Presidential intaglio print made by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. The coin comes in a textured, leather-like folder. When opened the folder shows the intaglio print from the BEP along with the official Presidential signature. Each set comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

For those who like changing the designs of quarters might find interesting the news about legislation, which was lately introduced in the House asking for new type of circulating quarters, which are likely to be launched in 2010. The new quarters will be arranged in 11-year series.
The new quarter coins are expected to be "emblematic of a national park or other national site in each State, the District of Columbia, and each territory of the United States." With this year's ending of the 50 States Quarter Program that managed to become popular, and the next year's beginning and ending of the D.C. and U.S. Territories Quarter Program, the obverse of the new quarter dollar coin was to set back to the design featured back in 1998.

The United States Mint has arranged the design variants of three District of Columbia commemorative quarter coins and passed them to D.C. for review. The moment came for the public to vote for the best design so to help choose the final design for the quarter coin.
The design, which will be announced as the final one, will be offered to the U.S. Mint to be issued in 2009. It is worth mentioning that the new design will be a part of District of Columbia and United States Territories Circulating Quarter Dollar Program .
